How to access samples or setup Ableton Sampler:

Download & Extract Files...

After checkout, you will receive an email at the address you entered with your download link. Your download link will be a .zip folder These folders make your download smaller and faster. If you need assistance unzipping your files, download a free program like 7zip, or email us at Ryan [at] studio-phasen [dot] com

To Access Wav Files...

If you are not an Ableton user, and you just want to use the .wav file samples, you will still need to open the Ableton project folder. These are usually located within a folder of the instrument or package name. From there, click on the 'Samples' folder. Then, go to the 'Imported' folder. Here you will find your .wav files clearly marked by sound, tonic note, and type (chord, bass, drone, stab, etc). Drag and drop into your DAW or 3rd party sampler.

To Setup Ableton Sampler...

If you have Ableton Live and Sampler, you can drag Sampler instruments onto MIDI channels and play your own basslines, chord progessions, or drums.  To do this, you need to enter the instrument or package folder and look inside the ableton project folder. You should find the specific Ableton Live Set file (.als file extension). Once you load the Live Set in Ableton, click the hard disk button at the top right corner of each Sampler instrument (see image below). This should save the Sampler instrument in your navigation on the left, usually in the Templates folder. Save each of the Samplers in the project and you're good to go!
